Dance Teleportation (2020)

ABOUT

Dance Teleportation: Choreography Beyond Space and Time, with floating wprds and bodies is a new choreographic method and installation that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic when Yamazaki and dancers could not physically get together to rehearse. Based on Yamazaki's languaged-based choreography, each dancer delivered their "dance" using multiple media sources.

*The exhibition ended on September 13, 2020 at Dance Base Yokohama (DaBY). The book, Dance Teleportation, written both in English and Japanese was published on October 1, 2021 by Dance Base Yokohama.
